This week, social media sensation Tom Lamb returned to Fruehauf’s Grantham factory to explore the brand-new welding robots recently implemented on the production line. These advanced robots are set to enhance both the quality and quantity of Fruehauf’s bulk tipping trailers.
Tom Lamb, a farmer from Great Casterton, UK, is widely known for his YouTube channel, where he shares innovative DIY engineering and farming projects. His engaging content has attracted thousands of followers and earned him a nomination in the Content Creator category at the British Farming Awards.

Having visited the factory earlier this year, Tom has maintained close ties with the team, attending industry shows and MV Fruehauf Truck racing events, strengthening his relationship with the brand. During this visit, he was accompanied by Arturas, Fruehauf’s Production Director and project lead for the welding robots, who provided in-depth insight into the technology and its benefits.
The duo explored the welding process, discussing how the robots are designed to complement, rather than replace, the workforce, and how they drive efficiency and innovation across the factory. The video offers exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the robots in action—a glimpse into the new era of manufacturing at Fruehauf.

Tom also met with Tom O’Rouke, CEO of Fruehauf, who shared his journey of acquiring the company and offered an inside look at the factory’s production lines, highlighting the impressive scale and capabilities of the operation.
