  4. Check for obvious issues; binding, uneven wear across brakes, damaged components
  5. Do not ignore the warning, and if you are left with any doubt contact a professional to check your braking system before continuing on your journey. 

What if the alert remains after inspection?

If the warning continues after checking the vehicle:

  1. Do not attempt to reset and continue without understanding the cause
  2. Seek professional inspection before the vehicle returns to service
  3. Ensure any faults are properly diagnosed and repaired
