Fruehauf was pleased to welcome Annabelle Sclater, ESG Specialist for the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, to its Grantham factory for an in-depth tour of the company’s 67-acre manufacturing facility. Led by Special Projects Manager David Lewington, the visit provided a first-hand look at the precision and expertise behind Fruehauf’s industry-leading trailer production.
On the tour Annabelle was shown the full manufacturing process, from welding and painting to graphics application and parts production. Each step of the process highlighting Fruehauf’s unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and British manufacturing, principles that have cemented the company’s reputation as a leader in the trailer industry.
The visit also served as an opportunity to discuss future collaboration between Fruehauf and the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce. With a shared focus on sustainability and industry development, the two organisations are exploring the formation of a dedicated manufacturing group aimed at fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and supporting the growth of the sector.
