Fruehauf recently welcomed Nic Pennock, Membership Team Manager at Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, to its Grantham headquarters for an insightful discussion on the future of manufacturing in the region.
During the visit, Pennock was given an in-depth tour of Fruehauf’s expansive 64-acre site and 550,000 sq ft factory, where the company’s industry-leading tipping trailers are produced. Following the tour, discussions in the boardroom focused on Fruehauf’s integral role within Lincolnshire’s thriving engineering sector and how greater collaboration between manufacturers can drive innovation and growth.
The visit underscored the value of strong connections between businesses and their local Chambers of Commerce. As an advocate for industry networking, Fruehauf recognises the vital role the Chamber plays in supporting and promoting the interests of manufacturers across the region.
Talking about this role, Fruehauf Special Projects Manager David Lewington said; “We take our position as one of the key manufacturers in the Lincolnshire area very seriously and see great value in all local manufacturers meeting regularly and working collaboratively together, the Lincolnshire Chamber is instrumental in providing a platform to do this”.
Fruehauf encourages businesses not yet involved with their local Chamber of Commerce to consider membership, as the support, advocacy, and networking opportunities they provide can be invaluable.
