Fruehauf is committed to investing in young people by offering apprenticeship opportunities that provide real-world experience where students can lean from their team of industry professionals. This isn’t just an investment in building individual careers but shaping the future of the transport industry. By nurturing young talent today, it ensures that tomorrow’s workforce is skilled, while bringing in a fresh perspective and a younger energy into the company.
Fruehauf is pleased to announce that the latest beneficiary of this commitment is William Vickers who has joined the company as an Apprentice Fitter. In this role, William will work closely with the team to gain hands-on experience in the repairs bay, while developing professional skills through training and mentorship. He will learn the ins and outs of HGV vehicles including the hydraulic and electrical systems. These are vital skills for someone to gain at a young age to set a future in stone within the motor vehicle industry.
At Fruehauf they see apprenticeships as a promise to future generations, and so much more than just training programs. William is a key example as a younger individual with a keen attitude and a successful future ahead of him.
