Fruehauf has reaffirmed its place at the heart of British motorsport, returning as a key sponsor of the British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC) for the 2025 season and extending its longstanding support for MV Racing and team principal, Tom O’Rourke.
The championship got underway at Brands Hatch at the weekend with fans treated to a weekend of close racing and dramatic finishes, with O’Rourke securing a well-earned podium placing in a thrilling contest that was widely hailed as the race of the weekend. The result marked a strong start to MV Racing’s 2025 campaign and provided a welcome boost to the team’s momentum.
With circuits including Donington Park and Snetterton still to come, Fruehauf’s presence will be felt trackside throughout the season not just through the striking new livery now adorning MV Racing’s trucks, but also through its growing event activity. The brand’s Event TV stands, featuring behind-the-scenes footage, product walk-arounds and customer insights, were introduced at Brands Hatch and will travel with the championship, helping bring Fruehauf’s industry-leading trailer solutions to a broader audience.
A fresh new livery, created in collaboration with Fruehauf, made its debut at Silverstone earlier this year. Featuring the manufacturer’s bold branding alongside MV Racing’s distinctive colour scheme, the design reflects the performance and professionalism shared by both teams.
This year’s BTRC calendar also sees a significant sustainability milestone. For the second year running, all competing trucks will run exclusively on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), a renewable diesel alternative that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% compared to traditional fuels. Delivered in partnership with Silvey Fleet and BWOC Ltd, the initiative represents a major step in Motorsport UK’s Sustainability Strategy – an area Fruehauf is equally committed to through ongoing innovation and responsible manufacturing.
As the 2025 championship continues, Fruehauf invites fans, customers and industry professionals to join them trackside or online to experience the best of British motorsport and trailer engineering.
The next race in the MV Racing team calendar is at Pembrey on the 17th-18th May, find out more and purchase tickets.
