Fruehauf Backs Grassroots Football With Harrowby United Sponsorship

Fruehauf is proud to announce its new sponsorship of Harrowby United Football Club, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the local community in Grantham.

Known affectionately as ‘The Arrows’, Harrowby United is a community-run club with deep roots in the town, having been originally founded in 1949 by local brothers Herbert and Charlie Craft. Today, the club competes in the United Counties League Premier Division North (Step 5), following a hard-fought promotion in the 2023–24 playoff final.

Based just a few miles from Fruehauf’s own manufacturing facility, the club continues to play its home fixtures at the ‘Fruehauf Stadium’, named as part of the sponsorship.

As part of the partnership, Fruehauf’s logo will proudly feature across the team’s kits and around the ground. The sponsorship is a meaningful contribution to a club run entirely by volunteers, whose dedication ensures football remains accessible and aspirational for people of all ages in the community.

Reforming after a brief hiatus in 2012, ‘The Arrows’ have shown what can be achieved through dedication and unity. Led by manager Jamie McGhee, a former professional who knows the area well, the team has made impressive strides, strengthening its squad with exciting local talent.

As the Arrows prepare for life in Step 5, Fruehauf is proud to stand behind them, both as a sponsor and a supporter of the club’s values, history, and ambitions.
