Some standout trailer handovers and demonstrations have taken place recently, showcasing both striking specifications and the diverse industries Fruehauf equipment supports across the UK and Ireland.

Family-run haulier Trevor Tate & Son marked a major milestone with the collection of their brand-new stepframe trailer. Finished in grey, the trailer pairs seamlessly with their red tractor units and complements the firm’s wider fleet. The purchase represents a proud moment in the company’s history, as the business now enters its third generation. Using TAASc-accredited trailers, Trevor Tate & Son continue to transport combinable crops and other bulk products nationwide, building on decades of trusted service.
Meanwhile, in Norfolk, McLeod Aggregates took delivery of a striking burgundy wine-coloured halfpipe trailer. Paired with a matching tractor unit and finished with bold livery, the combination ensures the business stands out on the road. Chosen for its strength and durability, the halfpipe trailer is perfectly suited for transporting sand, stone, ballast and recycled materials, supporting construction projects across the region and beyond.

Over in Ireland, February saw the Fruehauf Irish demo blower take to the roads, offering hauliers a rare opportunity to see the latest equipment in action. Led by the Fruehauf sales representative for Ireland, the tour delivered live demonstrations and hands-on testing, allowing operators in the animal feed industry to experience the new blower’s performance and practicality firsthand.
In Scotland, well-established operator Carnegie Fuels completed a significant fleet upgrade by collecting multiple new trailers in a single day. Ready for work immediately, the trailers were put straight into service transporting farm produce, playing a vital role in keeping Britain’s food supply moving every day.

Another Scottish haulier, WH Hamilton, also added to their fleet with the pickup of a new light grey sloper trailer, looking sharp behind their blue tractor unit. Operating nationwide, the company specialises in road sweeper hire, suction evacuation, aggregates and bulk haulage. With more than 75 years of experience, WH Hamilton continues to deliver a wide range of services backed by industry-leading safety standards.
After a very successful February, Fruehauf is proud to supply so many UK, Irish and Scottish hauliers, with tough roots within their communities. They look forward to the next month to demonstrate more exciting new trailers.
