“We were looking for something that had good build quality, was British-built, and had the proper backup,” explains David Ireland, Owner and Director of 3R Solutions. “The Fruehauf trailers stood out for us in terms of build quality, really, to be fair. I actually think having something built in Britain is pretty important.”

The procurement process was smooth, with Fruehauf providing trailers that met the exact specifications required—plank-sided, sloper design, weigh cells, alloy wheels, electric sheets, and air-operated tailgates. “The trailers were actually in our colour—Post Office red chassis with silver bodies—which was a nice bonus,” he added.

He was keen to do business, and we were in the market, so we hit it off. From placing the order to picking up the trailers, the process was condensed, and everybody at Fruehauf worked really hard to make sure they were ready to go straight to work.”

With Fruehauf handling everything from signwriting to weight calibration, 3R Solutions was able to put their new trailers straight into service without delay. “The backup has been first class, and to be honest, there haven’t really been any issues at all.”
