Fruehauf has enjoyed a highly successful August, with a steady stream of trailers leaving the Grantham factory and going straight into service across the UK and Ireland. The company continues to take pride not only in the quality of its engineering but also in the trusted relationships it maintains with a diverse customer base. This month, Fruehauf is highlighting a number of clients whose new trailers are already making an impact in construction, agriculture and transport.
In Ireland, RAS Haulage – renowned for the immaculate presentation of its fleet – has further elevated its image with the addition of a new Fruehauf Stepframe. Finished in a crisp white body with the company’s signature blue chassis and tailgate, the trailer combines strength and style in equal measure. Built for reliability, it is already hard at work on the road, a fitting addition for a business known for its uncompromising standards.

MW Hamilton & Sons, one of Scotland’s most respected names in vehicle hire, has also expanded its fleet. With more than 75 years of industry experience and a reputation for versatility, the business required a trailer that reflected both quality and reliability. Their choice was the iconic Fruehauf halfpipe, specified in bright white with blue accents to complement their tractor units. With industry-leading safety features, the new trailer further underlines the company’s commitment to excellence across its wide-ranging operations.
Family-run haulier James S Hislop, established in 1988 on the Scottish Borders, has also turned to Fruehauf. Now led by Alan Hislop, the business is ideally placed to serve customers across Scotland and northern England. Its latest addition, a Fruehauf sloper, strengthens its bulk tipper fleet and is fitted with modern features including electric sheeting, on-board weighing and reversing systems. Fully TASCC certified, the trailer ensures Hislop continues to deliver efficiency and safety for its customers.

Meanwhile, Sandy from SMJ Haulage – better known online as Flat Out Flat Broke Sandy – collected a second-hand grey sloper from Grantham this month. While widely recognised as a social media personality, Sandy is also a working owner-driver, and the Fruehauf team captured him on site expertly coupling his new trailer. The result was a visually striking combination with his tractor unit, proving that style and substance can go hand in hand.
In Cumbria, M.E. Saunders & Sons Ltd has marked more than a century in haulage by upgrading its fleet with a Fruehauf bathtub trailer in the company’s iconic green livery. Founded by Fred Saunders, the family business remains a trusted name in the region, and the addition of a new bathtub reflects its continued investment in quality equipment to support future growth.

British farmer-owned cooperative Openfield has also added another Fruehauf sloper to its extensive fleet. Finished in the firm’s distinctive branding, the new trailer strengthens its reputation as one of the most trusted grain handlers in the country. Built on values of fairness and efficiency, Openfield’s enduring partnership with Fruehauf highlights a shared commitment to innovation and service across the agricultural supply chain.
Finally, Andrew Bowen Haulage of Herefordshire has taken delivery of two new Fruehauf slopers. With clean white bodies and bright red chassis, the trailers perfectly reflect the company’s brand image. Specialising in chicken litter transportation, the business depends on safe and reliable equipment to meet its customers’ needs. The latest additions reaffirm its reputation for quality and reliability, while demonstrating continued investment in its fleet.

It has been a strong month for Fruehauf, with leading operators across the UK and Ireland choosing to expand their fleets with the company’s durable, high-performance trailers. Fruehauf extends its thanks to all the businesses that placed their trust in the brand this month.
